ON Thu and Fri, Feb 19 and 20, the Provinces of Canada meet the Federal
Government to discuss the MAI and the Canadian AIT (Agreement on Internal
Trade); BC is about to receive a major slam for sticking up for provincial
powers; the reason we have been unable to get much feedback from the BC
governent on the legal challenge to the MAI is because they are busy with 
negotiations about the AIT and how it relates to the MAI . BC's opposition 
to the MAI is the strongest in the country, and the BC government needs our 
support at this meeting -- citizens in each of the other Provinces should be
telling their own Premier to support BC and say NO the MAI.
It is crucial for other Provinces support BC's opposition to the MAI in 
order to hold off the Federal attack. 

Provinces that have come out with varying degrees of resistance to the 
MAI so far are BC, PEI, Yukon, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
